The Japanese and Danish teams emerged as the major winners of the tournament, securing spots in the women’s doubles, men’s doubles championships, and the mixed doubles final. In a thrilling women’s doubles semi-final, Japan’s top seeds Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida narrowly defeated their compatriots Yuki Fukushima and Sayaka Hirota, the third seeds, with a score of 13-21, 21-15, 27-25. They will face another Japanese pair, Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara, in the final.
