It's not just Parliament that's leaking, badminton stadium could leak too, surprise!

Leaky Badminton Hall at 17th Perlis SUKMA

In addition to the construction delayed for the 17th SUKMA indoor badminton stadium, audience who attended badminton games held on Friday were annoyed by water leaking from the roof at the newly build Badminton Stadium.It's not just Parliament that's leaking, badminton stadium could leak too, surprise!

Leaks were spotted at different parts of the badminton hall near the seating areas, fortunately, that didn’t interrupt with any games.

 

Public Works Department (JKR) director Azizan Ab Rahman said the leak was just a minor defect. Water entered the stadium through the side roof due to poor workmanship by the installer.

 

“We spotted the leakages at 4pm and the leakages were repaired by 6pm,” said Azizan.

“We’ve inspected the hall thoroughly to ensure no more leakages were found,” he added.
