The Badminton World Federation is considering introducing a new format to prevent a repetition.
But its deputy president Punch Gunalan says no rule has been broken and he doesn't blame the Koreans.
They say their strategy's always been to face the European champions Denmark in the quarter-finals, Indonesia in the semis and China in the final.
In other quarter-final action tonight the holders China play Thailand, Indonesia meet England and Malaysia face Japan.
In the Uber Cup for women, the champions China, meet the Netherlands, Indonesia face Hong Kong, South Korea play Malaysia and Germany take on Denmark.
