Is Anders Antonsen Training with Viktor Axelsen in Dubai?
Dubai: So, when three out of four players whom Viktor Axelsen invited to train with him since early January 2022 had left Dubai last week to compete at the 2022 India Open which kicked off on Jan 11, 2022, who’s left to spar and train with the Tokyo Olympics gold medalist? The answer could be the World No. 3 Anders Antonsen.
Axelsen originally invited Loh Kean Yew, Brian Yang, Felix Burestedt, and men’s doubles player – Mathias Thyrri to train with him in Dubai starting early January. After the three men’s singles players left Dubai for New Delhi, it’s unlikely Mathias Thyrri could provide enough quality sparring sessions for the World No. 1. Therefore, Axelsen might be quietly invited Anders Antonsen to train with him in Dubai.

Last Thursday, both Viktor Axelsen and Anders Antonsen posted different pictures believed to show a similar scenery of Dubai but from different angles.
