Indonesia’s mixed doubles could spring surprise in the 2015 World Championships

Jakarta: Mixed doubles coach of the Badminton Association of Indonesia (PBSI), Richard Mainaky hoped young mixed doubles pairs from Indonesia could put up breakout performances at this year’s world championships, which will be held in Jakarta from August 10 to August 16.Good luck to Tontowi Ahmad (left) and Lilyana Natsir at the World Championships.

Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto qualified for World Champs

Jakarta: Indonesian mixed doubles Praveen Jordan / Debby Susanto, managed to qualify for the 2014 World Championships to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from August 25 to August 31.

Initially, Praveen / Debby did not qualify for the World Championship due to insufficient BWF world ranking points. However, with the withdrawal of several players including Tontowi Ahmad / Liliyana Natsir, the world number 30 pair was eventually able to earn a spot at the Copenhagen World Championships.Praveen Jordan and Debby Susanto (right) of Indonesia
