Chance for Chen Long to seize the moment

PETALING JAYA: China’s world junior champion Chen Long will have a chance to show that he is ready to move onto the big stage when he takes on his senior Bao Chunlai in the final of the men’s singles event in the Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) in Suwon, South Korea, today.

Yesterday, the 19-year-old Chen Long defeated team-mate Du Pengyu 21-16, 28-26 while Bao overcame a sluggish start to beat Japanese Sho Sasaki 22-20, 21-10.
