Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun, Anna Cheong Ching Yik/Teoh Mei Xing Win 2022 Syed Modi International
Lucknow: Malaysian shuttlers took home two titles in both the men’s doubles and women’s doubles events at 2022 Syed Modi India International on Sunday.
The World No. 65 Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun overcame World No. 74 Krishna Prasad Garaga/Vishnuvardhan Goud Panjala of India 21-18, 21-15 in 33 minutes to take home the men’s doubles crown and pocketed total prize money of USD $11,850.
Meanwhile, the World No. 138 Anna Cheong Ching Yik/Teoh Mei Xing saw off World No. 116 Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand Pullela of India 21-12, 21-13 in 32 minutes in the women’s doubles final.

Both Malaysian pairs will next travel to Cuttack, India to take part in the BWF World Tour Super 100 Odisha Open, which will be held from Jan 25, 2022, to Jan 30, 2022, at Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
