Gold Coast: World No. 5 men’s singles player Shi Yuqi of China was taking a break from the 2017 Sudirman Cup training to enjoy the most exhilarating adventure experience on the Gold Coast – SkyPoint.
SkyPoint Climb is the highest attraction in Gold Coast, Australia. Rising 270m into the air, it takes an average of 90 minutes for tourists to climb from the bottom to the top.

“The view is so natural and amazing, and the air is so clean,” said Shi.

“It’s exciting, I’ve never climbed so high before, it’s breathtaking,” added Shi.

Shi is serving as the backup men’s singles player for defending champions – China at the 2017 Sudirman Cup that runs from May 20th to May 28 at the new Commonwealth Games venue, the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre.
