Kuala Lumpur: The president of Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), Norza Zakaria visited Lee Chong Wei on Thursday morning, and then posted smiling selfies of him and Lee on his social media page after the visit.
“I am extremely happy that Chong Wei is recovering well. He had lost about 5kg but is in jovial mood. He needs another two or three weeks of rest,” said Norza Zakaria.
“We talked about our national team and Chong Wei was excited with Lee Zii Jia’s achievement at the Chinese Taipei Open,” Zakaria told Malaysian media.
This was Lee’s first perfect headshot in more than two months after going to Taiwan for his early-stage nose cancer treatment at late July.
