Taipei: Lu Ching Yao is married!
The world No. 19 men’s doubles player of Taiwan who stands at 190.5 cm, took to Instagram to announce the exciting news on Monday that he has tied the knot with girlfriend Tiff Liao but had to postpone their wedding reception due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 26-year-old Lu Ching Yao and Tiff have been together for over a year. However, they had to spend most of the time apart from each other because Lu had to travel around the world to compete in tournaments, while Tiff was working at the Singha Beer company in Thailand. Both are currently staying in Taiwan due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which allowed them to enjoy more quality time together that may otherwise be taken for granted.
“She is very practical, has strong financial planning skills, and has helped me taken care of many things. She is the right person for me. Therefore, I wanted to settle down and I want to work hard in building our future life together,” said Lu to Taiwanese media.
