After skipping the Swiss Open Super Series last week, Saina Nehwal saw her ranking drop down a rung to 6 in the March 25 rankings released by the Badminton World Federation. Five Chinese have piled up above her, with Basel champion Shixian Wang climbing 5 places and nudging the Indian down one spot after Nehwal’s week-long stay in the Top 5. The mixed doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and V Diju climbed up one spot to 9, while Chetan Anand slipped down further to 18. P Kashyap is at 30, Aravind Bhat at 36, and Anup Sridhar at 41.
