Alor Setar: The head of government in the Malaysian state of Kedah, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, uploaded several photos of him playing badminton with Malaysia’s World No. 10 men’s singles player Lee Zii Jia on Facebook on Tuesday.
Lee returned to his hometown of Alor Setar with his parents and family a few days ago and was arranged to play badminton with Md Nor and other government officials on Dec 1, 2020.
The event was held in the official residence of Md Nor. It was reported that after knowing Lee Zii Jia had returned to his hometown, Md Nor who loves badminton, was trying to set up a time to play a friendly match with Lee.
After the match, Md Nor admitted his badminton skills were not good, but he was happy to pair with Lee for a men’s doubles match.
After the game, Lee presented his jersey to Md Nor.
