Beijing: China’s former women’s doubles World No. 1, Luo Yu, shared a picture of herself cradling her baby bump with her husband, Zhang Wen, recently. Zhang was also a badminton player as he used to rank World No. 15 in men’s doubles partnering current World No. 3 mixed doubles player, Wang Yi Lyu.
Luo celebrated the exciting news with the message below on her social media:

Meanwhile, two weeks ago, China’s former World No. 14 men’s singles player, Qiao Bin, announcing the good news that he and his wife, the London Olympic women’s singles gold medalist, Li Xuerui, were going to become parents.
Qiao posted pictures of him and Li Xuerui holding her baby bump. Li, who defeated teammate, Wang Yihan, in the London Games final, also posted a message on her social media saying, “Looking forward to our little baby, love you!”
