New Delhi: The battle for supremacy in the badminton event at the Asian Games would be tougher than it was in the Commonwealth Games recently, said Saina Nehwal, who along with P. Kashyap left for China on Monday.
The ace shuttler, who was in the capital on Monday to receive the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, said beating her Chinese opponents would be the biggest challenge in Guangzhou.
“I feel it is now my duty to give the best for my country, which has given me so much,” Saina said after receiving the Khel Ratna Award.
“There will be fierce competition in the Asian Games. Since the Games are held in their country, the Chinese players would be all out to bag all the titles at stake,” she said.
