Copenhagen: Denmark’s World No. 3 men’s singles player, Anders Antonsen fainted after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine last Saturday.
The Danish media TV2 has reported that Antonsen was sweating and then fainted after being vaccinated.
After a short period of rest, Antonsen woke up and he told the medical staff that he had not eaten much and drank little water in the past two days.
The medical staff then fed Antonsen with apple juice and he went back to his apartment after his condition stabilized.
Antonsen posted on his social media page saying: “I am in a bad mood because I passed out after being vaccinated. I have never experienced such a bad thing in my life.”
Antonsen has since fully recovered and has returned to the court to resume his training.
