The couple welcomed their first daughter named Vega Rohde Axelsen on 15 October 2020.
Many badminton stars including Loh Kean Yew, Ong Yew Sin, and others left comments on Axelsen’s Instagram to congratulate him. Loh’s comment which said: “Why do you look like you’re the one that gave birth?😂”, has attracted 2249 likes and 92 replies.
