Basle in Switzerland will play host to the 2014 European Men and Women team Championships and Ireland have sent teams to compete in both events.
The Irish teams have been placed in two difficult groups and will need to be on the top of their game when they start the event on Tuesday the 11th of February. 
The players selected to play in the European Men Team Championships are as follows:

Sam Magee
Jonathan Dolan
Tony Stephenson
The Men’s team are in a group with number one seeds Denmark, Czech Republic and Slovakia
The players selected to play in the Women’s Team Championships are:
Chloe Magee
Jennie King
Alannah Stephenson
Sinead Chambers
The Women’s Team are in a group with number 3 seeds Bulgaria, France and the Netherlands.
