New York: Badminton duo Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen are ready for the final at the U.S. Open Championships.
On Saturday, the Danish pair defeated Liao Min Chun and Tseng Min Hao of Taiwan in the semi-final effortlessly with 21-15 and 21-14 in 30 minutes.
Even though the Taiwanese pair were ahead 5-0 early in the second set, but Boe and Mogensen were able to drive home with victory in the badminton hall on Long Island without much drama.
They will play Mane Pong Jongjit and Nipitphon Puangpuapech from Thailand in the final.
