Seoul: World number one men’s doubles player Yoo Yeon-Seong of South Korea tied the knot with his wife Eriko Tsuchiya of Japan citizen on Feb 7.
Yoo met his wife in a plane when he was going to Tokyo to compete in the 2011 Japan Superseries. Yoo was attracted by the beautiful Tsuchiya and her ability of speaking fluent Korean.
Eriko Tsuchiya has been incredibly supportive to Yoo’s career; she even chose to live near the Taeneung National Training Center – the main training facility of Korean national badminton players.
