MACAO, Oct. 7 (Xinhua) — Chinese shuttler Chen Jin clinch the title of Macao Badminton Open when he beat his more illustrious Indonesia opponent Taufik Hadayat in the men's singles final here on Sunday. Chen won 19-21, 21-17, 21-18 in 65 minutes to give Taufik the second defeat as Chen ousted Taufik in the China Open early this year.
Early on Sunday, China's world number two duo Gao Ling/Huang Sui also defended their title of women's doubles by beating Lee Kyung-won/Lee Hyo-Jung of South Korea 2-0 (21-15, 21-7).
China claimed four out of five titles of the Macao Open which was concluded here on Sunday.
