Thailand’s top-seeded women’s singles star, Pornpawee Chochuwong, delivered a dominant performance, defeating Indonesia’s No. 3 seed, Putri Kusuma Wardani, 21-14, 21-15 to secure a spot in the final. This marks her second final appearance of the season, following her runner-up finish at the India Open, where she lost to Korea’s World No. 1, An Se Young.
