Paris: Chinese badminton player Wang Chang, partnered with Liang Weikeng, made it to the men’s doubles final at the Paris Olympics but ultimately had to settle for a silver medal. Despite losing the final, Wang Chang won immense popularity due to his handsome appearance. When he returned home, he was chased by a large group of fans at the airport, leaving some of his fans in shock and commenting that his “glorious return” looked more like he was escaping from some sort of disaster.
