Macau: Reigning Commonwealth Games women’s doubles champion Woon Khe Wei-Vivian Hoo who lost in the first round of the Hong Kong Open last week, finally got their act together on Thursday, racing to a 21-16, 21-18 win against Della Destiara Haris-Gebby Ristiyani Imawan of Indonesia in the last 16 match of Macau Open.

Macau Grand Prix Gold: Zulfadli, Sindhu in last 16
Macau: Despite a persistent cough, former world junior champion Zulfadli Zulkiffli managed to scrap through with victory in the men’s singles second round of Macau Open beating Taiwan’s Wan Chia-hsin 21-11, 5-21, 21-12 in 42 minutes. Zulfadli will play Suppanyu Avihingsanon of Thailand for a spot in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
