Malaysian pairs fail to reach Malaysia Masters finals

Kuching: With one fell rather easily and another failed to come back from one set down, two Malaysian pairs of mixed doubles pair Chan Peng Soon/Lai Pei Jing and men’s doubles pair Tan Wee Kiong/Goh V Shem exited Malaysia Masters on Saturday and helped set another low point in Malaysian badminton.

Chan Peng Soon/Lai Pei Jing were no match for the top seeds Joachim Fischer Nilsen/Christinna Pedersen of Denmark in mixed doubles semi-final, they were shut down by the Denmark pair 10-21, 7-21 in just 32 minutes.Goh V Shem (black shirt, right), Tan Wee Kiong shaking hands with their Taiwanese opponents at the end of the match
