Tai Tzu Ying, Viktor Axelsen, Chan Peng Soon, Goh Liu Ying & Others Stay Active During Quarantine in Bangkok

Bangkok: All shuttlers participating at the YONEX Thailand Open Jan. 12-17, Toyota Thailand Open Jan. 19-24, and the HSBC BWF 2020 World Tour Final from 27-31 have arrived in Bangkok by now.

Those three-tournament clusters would be held within a bubble under strict health and safety protocols, and all shuttlers would need to quarantine themselves in hotels for three days before they were allowed to spend time training and preparing for the competitions in designated facilities.

Taiwan’s World No. 1 women’s singles player Tai Tzu Ying, World No. 3 and No. 4 men’s singles players – Anders Antonsen, Viktor Axelsen of Denmark, Malaysia’s World No. 7 mixed doubles pair – Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying, and World No. 14 women’s doubles players Chow Mei Kuan/Lee Meng Yean have unleashed their creativity to find new ways to keep themselves active while in isolation.
