Jeju: The Korean badminton team lived up to home crowd’s expectation as they ruled all five events in the Korea Masters finals on Sunday.
Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Jae Hwan started the campaign for Korea in the men’s doubles event against No. 1 seeds and last week’s Macau Open champions Lee Jhe-Huei/Lee Yang. Ko/Kim came back after trailing by 7-13, 14-17 to edge the Taiwanese pair 21-19 in the first set. The Korean pair led most of the second set to keep the men’s doubles title at home with a 21-18 second set victory.
