Defending singles champion Sarah Walker feels her England team-mates will target her at the National Badminton Championships this weekend.
Walker, 24, is the highest ranking female English player in the world at 72nd, and will be the top seed at the women's tournament in Milton Keynes.
"Anyone who wins the nationals is there to be shot down," she told BBC Essex.
"I'm playing quite well at the minute but nationals are always a tough one mentally, for everyone I think."
She added: "You're kind of turning against your teammates and playing against everyone that you train with.
