men’s doubles Tan Wee Kiong-Goh V Shem proved to be too strong for Dakeil Thorpe-Adndre Padmore by winning the fourth point for Malaysia 21-6, 21-8; Woon Khe Wei- Vivian Hoo clinched the final point for Malaysia in a comfortable fashion with 21-8, 21-7 in 18 minutes. England also eased past North Ireland 5-0 in its first Group F tie.
