Beijing: Can you imagine what it would be like to watch Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan bring their heated rivalry from the badminton court into a reality TV show?
Well, Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan who have engaged in a lot memorable badminton matchups in the past would be on a collision course again in an upcoming reality-TV show called “Yes! Coach”, produced by a Shanghai-based television station called CCTV.
The reality show will feature prominent celebrities from Hong Kong and China to be coached by Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan in episodes that involved badminton. The show also includes three other sports – basketball, swimming and football, NBA player Jeremy Lin will appear in episodes that related to basketball.
Badminton fans are able to get a glimpse into how Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan lead their teams to victory in front of camera.
It’s worth mentioning that after Lee Chong Wei’s team levelled the score at 2-2 in the best of five team event, the atmosphere inside the arena was electric when Lee and Lin stepped on the court to set up the highly anticipated matchup to battle for the winning point.
Without giving too much away (spoiler), perhaps fans should wait until the show comes out to witness another epic showdown between Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan.
