Wee Kiong said after returning from Rio de Janeiro, he and V Shem had to attend many events to celebrate winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games.

The top men’s doubles pair exited in the second round of the Japan Open and reached the semi-final of the Korea Open.

“We did not prepare well for both tournaments due to the tight schedule. Things will be different in the Denmark Open and the French Open.

“Our main focus is the World Super Series Finals. Hopefully, we can qualify for the tournament,” he said after receiving health equipment from OSIM Malaysia here, today.

The World Super Series Finals will be held in Dubai from Dec 14 to 18.
