The Malaysian pair will next face their toughest challenge yet — a quarterfinal matchup against World No. 1 Koreans Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae.

Meanwhile, the 2022 World Champions and current World No. 2, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, were tested by fellow Malaysians Wan Arif Wan Junaidi/Yap Roy King in a dramatic three-game encounter.
After losing the first set 18-21, Aaron/Wooi Yik staged a remarkable comeback to win the second set 21-18 and held their nerve in a nail-biting decider, clinching it 26-24. Their experience and mental fortitude proved crucial.

Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei, ranked World No. 4, displayed incredible determination as they came from a set down to defeat Indonesia’s Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Pasaribu 14-21, 21-19, 21-17 in a tense 68-minute battle.
