Heading into 10-day break, Muar City #1 team in Purple League

Kuala Lumpur: Going into a 10-day break, the Muar City is 7-0 and remains as the only undefeated team in Purple League.

However, their schedule will get much tougher after the break when they will play the number two team in the league Petaling Jaya BC on Jan 22, Kepong BC that feature Chong Wei Feng, Tan Boon Heong on Jan 25, Ampang Jaya BC on Jan 27th and former number two team Puchong United on Jan 31.Muar City team selfie (Photo: Muar City FB)

Petaling Jaya, Puchong United and Kepong are three strong title contenders that have great players at all positions. If one of them could win all remaining scheduled games, that team could possibly steal the top spot from Muar City going into the Purple League Champions Challenge that will be held from Feb 8 to Feb 10.

In the race for the top eight spot of Purple League rankings, it’s going to be interesting to see which team would rise and fall after the break to qualify for the Champions Challenge.
