PASIR GUDANG: Malaysia's top pair Hoon Thien How-Tan Wee Kiong and Tanongsak Saensom­boon­suk of Thailand – were miserable on the opening day of the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold at the Pasir Gudang.

Malaysian No. 1 Thien How-Wee Kiong lost to Singaporeans Danny Bawa Chrisnanta-Chayut Triyachart 16-21, 20-22 in a 39-minute match on Wednesday.hoon Thien How- Tan Wee Kiong were sent packing 16-21, 20-22 by Singaporeans Danny Bawa Chrisnanta-Chayut Triyachart on Wednesday.

After the match, Wee Kiong said that they seriously need to examine what went wrong.
