Lin Dan eases into Singapore Open quarters

Singapore: Two time Olympic champion Lin Dan of China was near flawless as he marched into the quarter-finals of the Singapore Open on Thursday with a straight-sets victory over Indonesia’s Christie Jonatan.

The 19-year-old Jonatan offered little resistance to Lin, went down to the Chinese badminton superstar 13-21 in the first set.
