Yonex and Lee Yong-Dae rejoin Badminton Korea Association (BKA)
Seoul: Badminton equipment manufacturer, Yonex, who lost the sponsorship deal with Badminton Korea Association (BKA) to Victor in 2009, has officially signed a 4-year sponsorship deal again with BKA on January 7th, 2019. However, former World No. 1 men’s doubles player, Lee Yong-Dae who left BKA at the end of 2016, would have to wait a little longer before BKA could reinstate his eligibility as member of the Korean national team. Yonex signs deal to sponsor badminton English National Championships (pic)
Badminton England has announced sports equipment firm Yonex has signed a multi-year deal to become the official sports equipment partner of the English National Championship series.
This year's Championships are due to take place at stadium:mk in Milton Keynes on February 8 and 9.
Badminton England is based in Milton Keynes and this will be the first time the Championships will be staged in the city after taking place at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester for the past nine years.
Japanese firm Yonex has a long association with the sport of badminton and the company has been a long-term partner of Badminton England.
