After falling to Korea 1-4 in their second Group C tie on Sunday, the Malaysian team managed to hold a 5-0 victory over Macau on Monday to finish second in the group.

Jin Wei will clash with Indonesian youngster Hana Ramadhini in the semi-finals. Hana Ramadhini defeated Singapore’s Liang Xiaoyu 21-15, 11-21, 21-14 in other quarter-finals.
